she makes me laugh

i go outside to find ellory (in the clothes she picked out) mopping the driveway.....with this sombrero on!

we were so happy to see our sweet friends, sara & terry, this weekend!
they were so gracious and welcoming when we moved to our neighborhood, we loved having them across the street! ...until they moved...
so now we look forward to visits!!!
they have 2 precious boys, who are very well photographed, but as parents you are rarely in front of the camera....i got to take their photos while they were here!

we took ellory to try out a class this weekend, and she LOVED it. her excitement was too cute.
i think she would have stayed on the trampoline the entire time!
BUT, our little not-so-adventurous-one did great! she tried (and loved) the high balance beam, swung on the bars, tumbled on the fun mats, and more! there was another sweet little level 4 gymnast there who took elly under her wing and showed her around... you can tell from the picture below that ellory thought she was the coolest thing ever.

so she starts her class tomorrow!!

she came!

...the tooth fairy that is...
she left a little reward in elly's tooth fairy pillow (gotta LOVE etsy!)

this morning ellory said,"i'm so happy mommy! i can't believe i have my first gone tooth! now i don't have to worry about it any more!!"

ellory lost her first tooth!!

right after bathtime, ellory lost her very first tooth!

i know she was hoping it would just jump right out all on it's own, but instead...
mommy did a quick little surprise pull.
she was initially surprised, but then SO excited!! it was very cute.

now we're waiting to see if the tooth fairy will come!

ellory says if she forgets she'll just write her a nice note and leave it on the front door...i think she'll remember. ;)

colton turns 2!
